By installing font software created, manufactured or the property of Fettle Foundry (the Fonts), the Licensee (You) agree that the font software remains the exclusive property of Fettle Foundry and that you have the correct licensing in place to protect the use of the font software in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
When purchasing font files from Fettle Foundry, you are purchasing a license to use the font software. You are not purchasing the copyright or ownership of the typeface, but only the rights to use the font software. This license cannot be transferred to a third party without written consent from Fettle Foundry.
1. Number of Users
1a. The Licensee can install the Font(s) on any number of devices such as a laptop or desktop computer as long as the number of users accessing, installing the fonts, and opening software that uses the Fonts on these devices does not exceed the number of users selected at the point of license purchase. These devices can be connected to any number of physical outputs, such as inkjet printers, displays, and more.
1b. If the Licensee needs a greater number of users to be able to access the font files than at the point purchasing a prior license, the Licensee must purchase additional licenses to cover the greater number of users. This license will contain the exact same terms.
2. Permissions
2a. The Licensee is granted permission to use the Fonts with any software that supports them. This includes popular software release by Adobe, Microsoft, Apple or any other software retailer’s programmes, as well as software that the Licensee may have created or commissioned.
2b. The Licensee can send the Font(s) to their printing services, but after the job has been completed the Licensee must ensure that the service providers remove the Fonts from their systems to ensure that they do not end up using them on other jobs for customers that are not license holders.
2c. The Licensee can use the Font(s) to print artwork on clothes, cars, t-shirts, or any other products they, or their clients, are selling.
2d. The licensee can embed the Font(s) in their own website. Licensees that have clients (The Client), such as design or webs development agencies (Designers), cannot embed the Font(s) in the website of their clients. In these instances, the Client will need to purchase their own license based on the appropriate and correct number of users.
2e. The Licensee cannot embed the Font(s) in electronic documents that allow other users to extract the Font(s).
2f. The Licensee can use the Font(s) to create work for their clients as Designers as long as the Client purchases the appropriate and correct license for editing any files produced and supplied to them for the intended purpose of editing, such as templates etc.
2g. The Licensee may use the Font(s) to create brand or a corporate identity for a Client, including logos, business cards, letterheads, posters, flyers etc. Clients must adhere to the permissions outlined in 2f.
2h. The Licensee may not modify, translate, adapt, alter, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, reverse engineer, change or alter the embedding bits, the font name, nor seek to discover the source code of the font data, convert into another font format, create bitmaps, add or subtract any glyphs, symbols or accents, or any other derivative works based on the electronic data in the Font(s).
2i. The Licensee may not supply, directly or indirectly, any Fettle Foundry font data to any other firm, business or individual for any type of modifications or updates whatsoever. If alterations, or any other custom work, are required, the Licensee must commission this from Fettle Foundry.
2j. The Licensee can keep one backup copy of the Font(s) they have licensed, but the backup medium they use should be secure and only privately accessible.
2k. The Licensee can install the Font(s) to be used internally to users workingfor the Licensee, provided that the Licensee has purchased the appropriate license for theamount of users who will have access to the Fonts. All users must be covered with the license.
2l. The Licensee cannot give away copies of the Fonts in ways that do not comply with this agreement. For example: the Licensee cannot make any of theFonts available for download on the internet, to be emailed to friends, uploaded them topublic internet file transfer or storing channels.
2m. The Licensee cannot resell the fonts in any capacity unless authorised in writing by Fettle Foundry. This includes modifications of the Font(s).
2n. If a particular usage is not covered in this EULA, the Licensee must contact Fettle Foundry to seek permission for the usage.
3. Support and Updates
3a. All Fonts produced by Fettle Foundry undergo a process of testing before they are available for licensing, but as a small, independent Foundry it may be required for Fettle Foundry to make and published updates to Fonts.
3b. When updates are released for existing Fonts, Licensees are entitled to the updated files at no additional cost. The Licensee should contact Fettle Foundry, using the email address hello@fettlefoundry.com, with proof of purchase to receive the updated files.
3c. If the Licensee believes that something is wrong or broken with a Font, Fettle Foundry will review the issue(s), make updates where deemed necessary, and supply the Licensee with updated files.
3d. All Fettle Foundry Fonts come with ninety (90) days of free support. This support does not cover Fonts that have been modified by the Licensee or a third party.
4. Miscellaneous
4a. If the Licensee has any questions about this EULA, or wants to challenge any of its contents, they are invited to do so.
4b. All Fettle Foundry Fonts are made to be used how fonts are normally used. Fettle Foundry can guarantee and support their functionality as fonts, but not as anything else. We cannot take responsibility for incidental damages arising from the Fonts being used in any application or in a certain way.
4c. Fettle Foundry cannot take responsibility for a user's level of experience in using fonts.

Fettle Foundry reserves the right to amend this End User License Agreement (EULA) at any moment.
