Fettle Foundry was founded by Thom Milson, a designer with nearly fifteen years of experience who has been independently releasing fonts since 2020. At Fettle Foundry, Thom manages most of the type-based work—from ideation and sketches to production and marketing—occasionally collaborating with other designers as needed for specific projects.

In addition to his work at Fettle Foundry, Thom is a key member of the team at Out of Place Studio, a Bradford-based design studio that specialises in branding, web design, and web development for charities, arts and culture organisations, and the third sector.

At the moment we partner with vendors, MyFonts and Fontspring.

We've looked into selling typefaces directly to customers, however, as we're based in the United Kingdom, it's not a realistic option at the moment.

We offer trials for all of the typeface that you can find on this website through FontSpring. Alternatively, please feel free to contact me directly to request the specific fonts you would like to try.
